Taco Stuffed Phyllo Shells are a fun and delicious twist on your classic taco night! These crispy, bite-sized phyllo shells are packed with seasoned taco meat and are great when topped with fresh veggies, cheese, and a dollop of sour cream or salsa. Perfect for appetizers, parties, or a quick weeknight dinner, they bring all the flavors of your favorite tacos in a light, crispy shell!

Ingredients

  • 45 phyllo shells
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 Serrano pepper
  • 1 Tbs ghee
  • 2 Tbs taco seasoning

Directions

  1. Start by putting the phyllo shells in the oven for 5 minutes.Take them out and set aside.
  2. Now it’s time to make the taco meat! Cut up the onion and Serrano peppers into small pieces.
  3. Heat the ghee, and then add the onion and Serrano pepper to it. Cook down until onions are translucent and fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef, cook until brown, then add your favorite taco seasoning and combine well.
  5. Finally, spoon the ground beef mixture into the phyllo shells. Eat as is or top them with your favorite taco toppings.
  6. Enjoy!
