Ingredients

  • 8 cups Water
  • 6 oz. Chicken or turkey bones
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary, fresh
  • 10 sprigs Thyme, fresh
  • 10 leaves Sage, fresh
  • 1 tbsp. Italian Tuscan seasoning
  • Salt And Pepper To Taste

Directions

  1. Add carcass, water, herbs and seasoning to the Instant Pot.
  2. For bone broth: 4 hours on Low / 1.5 hours on High.
  3. For a light stock: 2 hours on Low / 45 minutes on High
  4. On the stovetop: 1 hour
  5. Strain solids.
  6. Refrigerate overnight. If it develops a fat cap, the following day, skim the fat and store until ready to use.
